Daffodil Bulbs Are In!

Dear Neighbor,

Get ready for a beautiful spring! On Sunday, volunteers planted 500 daffodil bulbs in 20 of our tree wells. The bulbs were provided at no cost by the NYC Parks Department Daffodil Project to honor those lost in the 9/11 attack of the World Trade Center. Look for photos on our website: www.bloomingdale.org

We would like to thank the Planting Committee, led by Lynn Max and Larry Stern, who organized the event. Many thanks to our neighbor volunteers who came out to help. They are Ira Gershenhorn, Mary Jo Gennaro, Alex Grannis, Larry Stern, Steve Max, Paul Ziegler, Michael Butterworth, Gary Waskow, Kay Cynamon, Alex Bell, Barbara Boynton and Lynn Max.
